The game where you BECOME the Pokemon card scalper

13 years later and they STILL haven't added medals...

I agree with Jin, the mouse clicking sucks to repair pegs, it also makes it super combersome and slow to fix the pegs along with making it easy to cheese if you use an auto clicker, lose/lose scenario, the pegs coming back after a time limit would be better, so you dont have to click dozens of pegs 15 times on top of managing plants and grabbing coins.

Can do! Will update tonight

Edit Aug 19th: Update is live check it out!

Amazing game so far! My only gripes is that the doors are still black on a black BG, making it hard to tell they where actually doors, and the personally I feel like the wall slide is a little too sticky, and the game feels a little too punishing, but if this is on purpose then it would be nice if there was a "casual" option that just takes away the instant kills, and game over punishments.

Pretty fucking good for a Flash game made in 2002??

455 characters, and only one has delicious milk...

BoiledMilkz responds:

Well, obviously, it's gonna be me with the milk.

THERE I AM GARY, THERE I AM!

It pretty great, and fun!
I would recommend adding sounds and maybe music to add a little life to it.

Justnaidbro responds:

thanks, im not good with music yet but if i get better with songs i will add some (sound effects too).

It's a nice game, but the RNG ruins it, you can have a red right behind a green, and you can't get rid of it unless you attack the green.
Also, this doesn't fit on computer monitors, since it's mobile oriented, I would just recommend scaling it down, I don't have experience with this, so I don't know if you can or not...

Ascencore responds:

It does fit computer monitors, the issue is the lack of default fullscreen support on NG.
I see what you mean by the RNG and I thought about it while designing.
In order to keep the semi randomness it was a compromise otherwise it would be much too linear and predictable like a traditional game. Also it represents market volatility which is the theme of the game. You don't necessarily have to get rid of for example a red if is right behind a green if you left enough room for price to move or used the market mover to destroy the green to get to the red, or contact a lower green order to bias price up.

Thanks for the feedback, if you know anyone with more of a finance/economics background they might understand it more.

This is well done!

The only thing I dislike is that this was posted the same day as your NG account.
I legit thought it was stolen until I clicked the link your @ and it led to your twitter.

It's a pretty unique game nonetheless!
Nice concept and the minimal design and music compliments it too!
